Acer Arena being a purpose built Olympic Venue had a design brief that specified stringent public safety standards along with a mandate to use modern technologies to achieve a GREEN building environment. Ecoglo were chosen to supply a luminous stair tread nosing for the 84 aisles leading into the main arena and a luminous seat number directional system. The reasons for the choice were obvious as not only did the Ecoglo product satisfy all the relevant Australian Safety Standards it eliminated the need to install a power hungry, high maintenance aisle lighting system. Ten years down the track I am happy to report that the original system with only a few minor repairs, has stood the test of time and still performs as well as the day it was commissioned. The products have well and truly performed as per the Ecoglo company claims.

Ecoglo is a well-known product in the Venue Management industry.
